Day 144

Most of my neighbors have beautiful plantings around their homes. Out neighbors Norm & Barbara are no exception. I spotted some Asiatic Lilies in their back yard and asked permission to shoot them. My intent was to do some macro work with them but there was too much of a breeze to accomplish this without some blurring. Soooo, I took one of the better images and applied a painting effect to it. I like the way it turned out. See what you think!

Day 143

So about a week ago I got an iPhone 4S. It has a great little camera on it! It really is a pretty decent camera! Here is a shot I took with it and only used available light! This is the sanctuary at Belin Memorial United Methodist Church.

Day 127

While driving through the parking area at Myrtle Beach State Park yesterday, I saw these wildflowers. Many were wind-blown and had a battered appearance, but there were a couple that still looked nice. Here is one of them.

OK, today it is time for something I haven’t done for a while. Time for another ORB! Let’s make it on the comical side for today. It’s summertime (technically still spring but….) and what do we like about summer???  PICNICs!  So, here is a picnic orb!
