Park Bench

My youngest daughter is coming to visit this weekend and while thinking about that I was looking through some images I made when I last visited her. We found this bench in a public park near Aiken, South Carolina, and I converted it to Black and White. Hope you enjoy it!

Day 238

Sometimes when a color image is just “blah”, it can become a very nice image when converted to black and white. This image taken along the beach at Huntington Beach State Park was a very “blah” image when I first looked at it. However, I think it packs a little punch now as a B&W image. What do you think?

Day 236

Today is a gloomy, cloudy, stormy, rainy day. And still I should be outside shooting something. Instead I channeled some inspiration from Monday nights CNPA meeting and created yet another kaleidoscope. This one began life as a day lily. Hope you enjoy it!

Day 235

Today I took yesterdays image (goat in tree) and made a kaleidoscope of it. This is an effect that I showed at the August CNPA meeting this past Monday night. Lot’s of fun!

Day 234

Was down along the marshwalk this afternoon, behind Drunkin’ Jacks, watching the goats on Goat Island. Some were playing a goat game and others were looking for food. This guy was up a tree licking something on the tree branch.

Day 232

The other day, one of my CNPA friends was trying some creative processing with some florals. One of the images she process with a “twirl” effect. It was very well done. So of course I had to try to too. Here is the result when applied to an Indian Blanket Flower. Hope you enjoy.

Day 231

Earlier this week I posted an image of a Palm Frond. Today I wondered how this would look in Black & White. Here is my B&W version!
